    A weekend in Berlin

    Oct 14, 2013 · Modified: Jul 20, 2024 by Ali · 1 Comment

Last weekend I felt like the luckiest person ever - I got to go to Berlin with some friends and without the kids! It was a stressful week leading up to it - the girls were ill, and I was worried about leaving them all is well that ends well and they had a great time at home with Daddy and I had a great time in Berlin!

We saw the Jewish Museum and visited Checkpoint Charlie and the fab BlackBox Exhibition there. We also had a good wander around the city, travelled on the U-Bahn, had a couple of great nights out and saw the Eastside Gallery. The city was so much prettier than I expected and really autumnal. Price wise it was very reasonable and all the food was wonderful. I am definitely planning another trip - this time I might take the hubby 🙂
