So it's a new year, a start to the monthly family photos again! This time last year was our first family photo with Baby N and he's now 1! I love how these photos capture a moment in time each month and also show how much everyone has grown. It's all too easy not to notice how everyone grows when you see them everyday!
This month's photo was taken at Dyffryn Gardens, a National Trust property not too far from us. They had a display over Christmas and into the New Year called Winter Lights where they lit up the trees with different coloured lights. This was the second time we visited - the first time the queue was so big we couldn't get in!
It was absolutely beautiful, we took a picnic for the children and they loved running around in the dark looking at the trees. It's amazing how different and impressive they looked in the dark and lit up.
As well as this photo I took I also made some video which is in my weekend vlog. I'm trying to bring back the weekend vlogs - for much the same reason as I like taking these photos - I love looking back on them. They are like snippets of time that I can't get back and want to hold onto. If you don't follow me on YouTube head on over and subscribe or you can watch the weekend video below...the winter lights part is at the end.
