My two girls have been going to dance classes since they were both 4 years old - that's 10 years of dancing! They have performed on various stages, including some great theatres in London and I genuinely think that they have enjoyed every second of it all.
This is Miss J with her first medal award - she was over the moon and so excited - doesn't she look gorgeous!

Obviously during lockdown their dancing classes were stopped, but they go to a wonderful dancing school who kept them going with virtual dance classes on zoom - and they didn't even charge for them. Such a lovely thing to do!
Whilst the girls were grateful for the zoom classes, it doesn't compare to being in class with all of your friends, twirling and dancing, tapping and chatting and both girls were really excited in September when classes could start back in person again. They have been back for a couple of weeks now and they run out after each lesson full of beans, telling me all about what happened in class, which friends were there and what they danced to. I love hearing them!
To celebrate dancing being back on Bloch very kindly sent us some of their products over and the girls had a lovely time trying it all on and modelling it for me!
They have a huge range of children's dance wear, in lots of different styles and colours in a range of sizes between age 2 - 14. We tried three different leotards and they were all great quality, a good fit and nice and stretchy. They would be really comfortable for dancing. The net skirting on some of the designs was really pretty and really flowed when they moved.
The girls always wear tights under their ballet leotards and the Bloch ones are a lovely colour and fit them beautifully. They have a wide selection of tights, in lots of shades so there will be one to suit everyone. They also come in footless, convertible and footed.
No ballet outfit is complete without a pair of ballet shoes and Bloch has children's dance shoes too - even glittery ones! There is a style for every budget on their site and the fit was great.
Honestly, if you need to stock up on dance wear just head over to the site, they have everything you could need from hairpins and hairnets to bags to organise your things, which would be really useful when the girls get back to performing.
Thank you so much to Bloch for sending us these goodies - the girls love them! Are your children going to dance classes? I bet they are excited to be back too!
