Easy Photo Personalised Valentines Cards DIY

    Jan 31, 2017 · Modified: Jan 24, 2024 by Ali · 1 Comment

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? We don't make a huge deal of it in our house but we do like to give each other personalised valentines cards and make a nice meal or gift for each other. Definitely nothing expensive and I hate going out for dinner. For me there is something special about making something personal for Valentines Day. We don't tend to go overboard but a little personalised valentines cards DIY and present shows that you care, and if you can make that card personal then so much the better.

This custom valentine's day card is really easy to make and my daughter loved helping me so it was a great family activity and we had so much fun. I love how the photos bring back memories of how when we were younger we would have photos taken in photo booths where they would print a strip of different photos. Please don't tell me I'm the only one old enough to remember that! In any event, this makes a really cute card!

    You will need...

Easy Photo Personalised Valentines Cards DIY materials

    • Blank cards
    • Envelopes
    • Decorative paper
    • White glue (PVA Glue )
    • Glue dots
    • Card to make a template for the photos
    • 3 photos of yourself
    • Black Pen

You can print out the photo strip template here.

    Instructions

First cut the decorative paper to size for the front of the card. I left a little gap at the top to write a Valentines message. Stick down using the white glue.

Print out the photo strip template or draw your own using a ruler onto card.

Next use the glue to stick the photos to the back of the photo strip template.

Then glue this onto the front of the card at a jaunty angle using the glue dots!

Write a little message on the front using the black pen and there you have it - a personalised photo valentines day card for the love of your life, or even your best friend.

There is no better way to say you love someone than a handmade card, it adds such a personal touch. Valentine's day also offers the perfect opportunity to make another person aware of your feelings for them - it's a great way to make the first move, if you are brave enough!
