We all know too well that in many cases it is the accessories that make an outfit. Even the simplest of looks is transformed by some elegant jewellery or a little bit of sparkle. Earrings quite often finish off a look perfectly for me, especially if I am wearing my hair up so that they can really be seen.
Day to day I wear quite plain earrings or often none at all, so when I am dressing up a little I like to wear some statement earrings - I really feel like I am 'dressed' then. I find a glamorous earring can be quite alluring and I'll definitely be dressing up in some for Valentines Day.
I was recently sent some beautiful earrings which will more than do the job. They were sent to me by Happiness Boutique, an online jewellery shop that sells some really unique and beautiful pieces. The earrings that I really loved online and chose were these gorgeous large gem drop earrings...
They are large enough to be a statement but also such a classic and classy style that they go with almost anything. I love the antique gold metalware and they sparkle really nicely when they hit the light. I'll be wearing these on nights out and with fluffy thick knits in the daytime too when I want to look a bit more 'put together'. They are really versatile.
The second pair I chose are definitely more of an evening earring. They are called ear crawlers and they fit like normal earrings but clip at the top to create a really stunning and different look. I would wear these with my hair curly and pinned up on one side to really show them off. They are a little heavy so best worn on an evening out rather than all day but I love how unique they are and I can't wait to wear them on a night out.
