Gift Ideas That Won't Break The Bank

Gifting your friends and family doesn’t have to break the bank. The gift of giving does not have to be a lavish item or something that poses luxury. Instead, a gift should be something meaningful and special. Therefore, it can be as affordable as you want it to be.

With the festive season approaching and many people looking for gift ideas, here are the best gift ideas that won’t break the bank.

    Prints

No matter if someone has their own home or a bedroom in their family home, a print is something everyone can appreciate. You can get them designed to display a person’s favourite quote, destination, artist, and more. They are lovely design pieces that can fit into anyone’s life. Plus, getting one that displays a person’s favourite ‘something’ shows that you have put extra special thought into it.

If you need some help with sourcing such a unique present, you can look here for canvas prints for an affordable price.

    Photo album

On the same topic of imagery and art, a photo album is a lovely personalised gift for someone special and it could cost you next to nothing.

All that you need to do is print the photos, which can be very affordable, and create your own album. This could be using a pre-made photo album you could get crafty and design a scrapbook to fill it with photos. Something so personal shows that you have put extra thought and care into the present, which is much more meaningful than an expensive gift.

    Custom socks

A custom gift is something to laugh about as well as appreciate. A pair of custom socks is a great idea for those for who you get a stocking filler-like gift.

You can get socks customised online or in stores. You can get anything printed on them such as a quote, the person’s face, their pet, or anything that comes to mind. They are a great small gift that won’t break the bank, yet makes it look like you have put extra effort in.

    Scratch-to-reveal vouchers

Should you want to gift someone an experience but don’t know how to tell them, then a scratch to reveal gift voucher is a great idea. No matter if you want to gift them a date night or a trip to the cinema, you can make the gift-giving a little more fun with a scratch to reveal voucher.

These can be handmade if you are crafty enough. Or, you can get an online business to make them for you.

    Personalised puzzle

Giving someone a gift that involves having something to make is quite fun. For the puzzle fans out there, you can create personalised puzzles of a person’s favourite animal, landscape, and so much more.

These are great gifts for children as well as grandparents. Anyone that enjoys a puzzle will appreciate a personalised puzzle.

    Holiday gift boxes

Should you be someone who enjoys buying random small goodies and gifting them to someone (such as food, stocking fillers, etc) you could create your own holiday gift box and fill it with the items that you buy.

For instance, you could make a food hamper with festive treats or the person’s favourite sweet treats. It makes a simple gift more special and put together. It could stay within your budget yet make it look like you have put lots of effort in.

    Cheeseboard

With there being so many cheese lovers out there, a cheese board is a great idea for a gift if you want to gift food but in a unique way. You could buy a cheese board or re-use a board of your own and fill it with the person’s favourite cheeses.

Adding a cheese knife and some chutney and crackers will enhance the board and make it look like you have put even more effort in.

    Vegetable patch kit

If you have a friend or family member that is a keen gardener or wants to start, then you could create a vegetable patch kit. They might be keen on growing their own produce and gifting them a kit so they can get started is a great idea.

You could add some gardening tools, which are pretty affordable, and some special seeds so that they can grow their vegetable and fruit in their garden. Most people have a small patch in their garden that they can give away to grow their own produce, so this gift will work for almost anyone.
