I love wearing jewellery and have a special jewellery box in my bedroom where I keep all my special jewellery. My girls have their own little collections too, which started when they were small with gifts from other people for their christenings and birthdays and also some pieces that were handed down when special family members passed away.
There's something special about having a piece of jewellery that marks an occasion. I know I always look at different pieces that I have and remember what I got them for, to mark my graduation for example, or a first gift from my husband.
My eldest daughter is now 11 and she's growing up fast. Secondary school is on the horizon and another milestone is coming up shortly - her Confirmation. She goes to a church school and we are a Christian family so this is an important and special milestone for us and we wanted to mark the occasion with a special gift for her. When Molly Brown London got in touch and asked us if we would like to feature some of their jewellery on the blog I just knew I would find the perfect keepsake from their collections.
Molly Brown London specialises in children's jewellery and has some really classy and gorgeous items on their website. From Christening gifts to gifts for flower girls they really have everything covered and their jewellery is timeless and beautiful, perfect for keeping forever.
I chose the Mother of Pearl Cross Necklace from their Holy Communion collection of jewellery because it was simple and classic but a little bit different to a plain cross. It arrived in a gorgeous gift box inside a gift bag. I was really impressed with the packaging - you could gift the item just as it is as the packaging is so lovely.
The necklace itself is a great quality and I was really impressed with it. It's nice and sturdy and expensive looking and definitely great value for the price of it. It will look beautiful on.
So if you are looking for the perfect gift for a special occasion, I'd definitely recommend taking a look at Molly Brown London.
Disclosure - we were gifted the necklace in this post for the purpose of this review. All opinions are honest and my own.
