Disclosure - we were gifted some Harringtons Cat food for the purposes of this review. All opinions are honest and my own (or Polly and Amber's!!!) This post also contains affiliate links.
You may have heard about Polly and Amber before - they are our gorgeous tortoiseshell cats and are very much loved by myself and the girls (hubby not so much!)
The importance of a good diet for cats
It has always been really important to me that they eat a good diet - Amber in particular has always been overweight and I know that poor diet in cats can lead to tooth problems amongst other things so I am very careful about what I feed them. I always opt for a high protein food which is as natural as possible.
Harringtons Cat Food Ingredients
When I was sent some Harringtons Cat food to review I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was the type of food that I would purchase myself for my cats. It has no artificial colours or preservatives, and plenty of added extras such as vitamins and minerals to give them a health boost. Also with 30% protein I was happy that this is one of the more high protein complete cat foods out there.
Did my cats like Harrington Cat Food?
And the taste test? Amber and Polly tested the Salmon with rice flavour and were very happy with this food. Polly can have a delicate stomach but this food suited her just fine. They transitioned from their usual food to this with no problems and seemed to really like it.
At about £1.40 for 500g Harringtons cat food is really great value too and definitely competes well with other brands. It is available throughout the UK and also now in France too. I'll definitely be buying it in the future.
