Because of this I like to record our family memories as much as I can. It is so nice to have something to look back on and remember things by. Gather your memories
Gather up all the memories that you plan to include in your scrapbook. You might be making a scrapbook about an event, a place that you travelled to, a hobby your little one has or even just a scrapbook of all the best bits of the last year. Gather together everything that you want to include, you could use
- tickets
- photos
- receipts
- postcards
- napkins
- business cards
- trinkets
- handwritten notes
- magazine / newspaper clippings
- wrapping paper / cards
You might also want to print out resources such as scrapbook paper, or download svg cuts if you are using a cricut or silhouette or printer to make particular elements such as titles.
Buy your scrapbooking tools
You will probably want a decent blank book to use as a starting point. You will also likely want glue, scissors, pens, scrapbooking paper and any other embellishments you might want to add such as stickers, glitter, ribbon - the possibilities are endless! You can even pick up a scrapbooking kit so you have everything you need in one package.
Get everyone involved
There is no better way to put all these memories together than with the people you created them with. Sit down all together one day if you can and block out a couple of hours of your time where you can all sit together and put together the scrapbook. You will have so much fun reminiscing and putting it all together, it will have extra significance when you look back upon it.
