Wow, it's been a while since I wrote one of these posts! Blogging life has been busy and I seem to have spent more time on paid work and less on fun posts that I used to write. So once again, I'm trying to pull all that back and this month I'm sharing with you everything that I loved and enjoyed in July 2022.

I have been continuing with reading whenever I get the chance. I have read quite a few books since I last wrote one of these posts so I'll share my favourites here...
One Of The Girls - this is quite an easy read, the perfect book to take on holiday really and to read around the pool. It has a couple of surprises in there which entice you to keep reading.
Lies Lies Lies - I really enjoyed this book. It has a darker edge than the book above with a twist that I could see coming but I still enjoyed. Again, a great one to take on holiday.
The Summer I Turned Pretty / It's Not Summer Without You / We'll Always Have Summer - I wanted to read these because the series has just started on Amazon Prime and I wanted to read the books first. They are teen fiction but I did find them very addictive and I read all three books really quickly as I just wanted to find out what happened next! When I've finished watching This Is Us, this is the TV series I'm going to start next.
I haven't found any new things to listen to really, probably because I've been so busy. I am still enjoying listening to podcasts when I'm in the car, these are my favourites...
The weather has been gorgeous so I have been making the most of wearing summer dresses! I have a few that I bought in the Next sale and I also have bought quite a bit on Vinted. I have been embracing getting my mum tum out and although I have put on quite a few pounds over the last year, I'm not hiding away. My back is also so much better since I had nerve blocking injections so I have been swimming every week and wearing my activewear more for cross training, yoga and long walks.
I haven't had a chance to make much due to being so busy but I have still been experimenting in the kitchen. I am still loving Taming Twins slow cooker recipes and we have recently been enjoying trying out Gousto - I have a code for a completely free box if you want to try it for yourself.
We did make this great mobile at the weekend from seashells - we each made a strand or two each and then hung them from a large stick. It looks so pretty and I'm planning on putting it up on our balcony.
We tried our first brownies by post box from Chummy's Bakery. I saw a lot of these over lockdown on Instagram and they looked amazing and I can confirm that these went down very well in our house!
They arrived in perfect condition, tasted amazing and were actually more delicious warmed slightly and served with ice cream. I think that they would make an amazing gift. Take a look at their website as they also do blondies, cookies, rocky road and bronuts too!
Lastly, we have been playing games as a family much more this summer holidays which has been so nice and makes a change from the children wanting to watch TV or play on a device. We were gifted this pack of Guiness World Record Top Trumps cards and the children love them!
We've learnt lots of new world records and had fun to boot! We are huge fans of Top Trumps games, they are easy to play and really portable so it's the one game that always comes with us on holiday.
