What is tastecard?
tastecard is an amazing card which will save you so much money on dining out and activities. It is brilliant for large families like mine where dining out might otherwise be too expensive - meaning that we can enjoy little treats out without breaking the bank thanks to the great dining discounts available.
tastecard offers you discounts on lots of different restaurants as well as deals on attractions, activities, cinema tickets, shop discounts and more.
How much can I save with tastecard?
On average members save around £23 per meal, which could work out to £276 a year if they eat out once a month. Obviously if you eat out more than this the yearly savings are bigger, and if you take advantage of all the other member perks you will make a massive saving.
Where can I use tastecard?
There are so many places that you can use your tastecard. On their website you can search by location which is great for when you are out for the day you can have a look for somewhere close to you that accepts the card.
There are simply loads of large chains such as Ask Italian, Zizzi's, Pizza Hut, Prezzo and Cafe Rouge as well as local restaurants that have signed up to the programme too.
The website is really clear as to which restaurants are available, their contact details and exactly what the offer is and when it is available. This is great as it saves any embarrassment when trying to use your discount card as you know exactly when it is valid.
You can also look on the website to see which attractions you can get a discount with. You can get reduced price cinema tickets with Odeon and Vue as well as local screens - again this is easy to find on the website.
Days out discounts with tastecard
The best part for me with a young family are the offers on attractions and days out. You can save over 50% on tickets to attractions such as Alton Towers and Legoland as well as theatre shows. The offers change and new ones are added all the time so it's definitely worth having a browse before you plan the next half term or school holidays.
The tastecard app
We take our phones everywhere now don't we so it makes sense that tastecard is available as an app. You can search for local restaurants, cinemas and attractions through the app and use it instead of a physical card. It's great for family days out in areas that you aren't familiar with and I don't think I could be without it now!
