The Ultimate Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide
Disclosure - this last minute christmas gift guideΒ contains affiliate links and mentions items that we have been given free of charge.Β
I know that most of you will have had Christmas sorted back in November, or even earlier! I have always been a last minute Christmas shopper - even with children I just can't seem to get myself motivated or in the mood to shop before December which doesn't leave me much time! I'm always ordering things at the last minute - pretty much on last ordering day! Today for example is the last day to post second class letters and of course my Christmas cards are still unwritten!
So if you are anything like me, this post is for you! A last minute Christmas gift idea for anyone you can think of! Now get ordering!
Baby
Babies are easy to buy for! I think something sensory goes down a treat with babies of all ages. I really like the Lamaze toys - they are bright and colourful and full of little bits and pieces that have different feels, textures and sounds. You can pick this one up on Amazon (affiliate link) and have it delivered before Christmas.
Children
Lego is my absolute go to gift for children, I'm yet to meet a child who doesn't like it! The bonus is that you can pick up Lego sets in most big supermarkets and toy stores so it is easy to get hold of at the last minute or last orders for Christmas delivery are today on the website. For younger children go for Duplo as it's easier for them to manage.
Teen
Teens can be hard to buy for but I think most teens would love this Lava Lamp from Brightminds. They have them in different colours and they make a lovely addition to any teenagers bedroom. They are a great price for gifts at Β£24.99 too.
Mum / Aunt / Friend
A candle is a great cover all gift for the lady in your life you don't know what else to buy for. A Yankee Candle is a great option - they are sold in many different independent shops all over the UK or you can pick them up on their website - last order date for delivery for Christmas is the 20th December. Another special gift idea for that special friend would be a friendship ring - this makes a lovely keepsake and lets the recipient know just how much they mean to you.
Dad / Uncle / Friend
I always find it hard to shop for men and tend to go for experiences rather than actual gifts. You can get an experience from somewhere like Red Letter Days or Groupon and pop a note / print out in a card with details of their present or pick up a voucher for a local place that they like such as the cinema or a restaurant.
Grandparents
A magazine subscription is a lovely idea for grandparents who might have more time on their hands to sit down and read. You can order online and pop a note in a card saying that you have ordered them a subscription. I always think that a subscription is such a lovely gift as every time it drops through their letterbox they will think of you and it's the gift that keeps on giving throughout the year.
Distant friend / family memberΒ
If you have a friend or family who lives a distance away the easiest thing to do is have something delivered directly to them. Bloom & Wild is my go to choice for flowers and gift deliveries as they fit through a standard letterbox so you don't have to worry about the recipient being out or at work and missing the delivery. The flowers are beautiful too and they also do unique gifts such as Poinsettia plants or mini Christmas trees which are a bit different so lovely to send. Last delivery dates are as follows...
I hope this last minute Christmas gift guide gives you some ideas and if you are a last minute shopper like me - good luck!
