Disclosure - this vegan Christmas gift guide 2020 post contains items I was sent free of charge for the purpose of including them in a gift guide. All opinions are honest and my own.
If you have been reading my blog for a while and following me on social media you will know that I am vegan and I really believe in showing people that a vegan lifestyle doesn't have to mean missing out. In this vegan Christmas gift guide 2020 you will find some great gift ideas for your vegan loved one that will make everyone jealous...
Food and Drink
Everyone assumes that being vegan means that you miss out on chocolate but there are so many great vegan chocolates out there now, you can definitely enjoy a chocolate or two whilst watching those Christmas movies!
One of my favourite brands, Hotel Chocolathas an amazing vegan collection which they have expanded this year. They have a great vegan hamper which is great value at £27.50 and would make a lovely gift. They also have a new nut milk hot chocolate which I can't wait to try as well as a vegan advent calendar too.
Spice Pots provide 100% natural, perfectly balanced spice blends to create easy, quick and simple but delicious curries and other Indian-inspired food. The spice pots are packaged up in a perfect set which contains 4 spice pots, Korma, Bhuna, Tandoori Masala and Goan. It also comes with 8 easy to follow recipes to use your spice pots so the vegan curry kit makes the perfect gift for vegan friends and at £14.95 it is at the perfect price point. Spice Pots are giving one of my readers the chance to win a pack themselves, you can enter here...
Buttermilk Peanut Butter Crunch
Buttermilk is an award winning Cornish confectionary brand who have recently branched out into the free from market. Buttermilk Peanut Butter Crunch is a chocolate crispy bite with a smooth peanut butter filling, made with natural ingredients. It's dairy free, vegan and palm oil free. The pouch is also plastic free and compostable!
The range is available in Tesco, and retails for £2.99.
Innerji is a caffeine free carbonated energising tonic, just launched in the UK. It's a natural drink that contains the revitalising super-herb Jiaogulan. In a refreshing tropical lime flavour and can be drunk on its own or even mixed into a cocktail.
An item that I featured last year in my gift guides that you all went wild for was ModiBodi's period and leakproof underwear. I was given a pair to review last year and I have honestly loved them. They beat wearing pads and provide security on those in between days too. They are also great if you leak urine or have heavy discharge. They have a new vegan range which I'd highly recommend you checking out. They of course save lots of waste going into landfill and swapping to using ModiBodi underwear is much better for the environment. We are also working with ModiBodi on a giveaway for a pair of your choice so make sure that you enter that here.
If you are looking for a great gift for a vegan friend then how about a vegan t-shirt from Fferal Clothing? These t-shirts make a statement but are also made from sustainable cotton, responsibly sourced and ethically made. They are also a Peta Approved Vegan clothing company. Whilst you are there check our their loungewear and children's PJ's too, perfect for a winter in lockdown!
Vegan Happy Clothing
*Vegan Happy Clothing is a wonderful vegan brand with a whole range of clothing and accessories that are vegan. The baby clothes are really cute and I love their hoodies! They have lots of things that would make great gifts, including these lovely thick knitted bobble hats.
This Vegan Chef apron is a great gift idea for the vegan cook in your life - I'll be proudly wearing mine on Christmas day when cooking my vegan Christmas dinner! The best thing is that 10% or more of profits are donated to animal rescue or vegan causes so you are contributing to a good cause with your purchase.
More and more people are becoming aware that you can make vegan and plant based choices outside of the realm of just food. Beauty is the next area that is booming with an explosion of great vegan options and the added bonus is that in most cases these are ethically made and environmentally friendly.
I love Neal's Yard products, and whilst their range isn't completely vegan they do have a huge selection of vegan products and gift sets. They don't test on animals and are a very ethical company to support. I think their Natural Defence hand rub would make a very timely and useful stocking filler.
This is another one of my favourite brands, who have also hugely expanded their vegan range recently. A gift set from Lush is a ready made and wrapped gift which is perfect for busy people. I was recently given the Christmas Bliss set and it is heaven in a box!
