Food and Drink
Everyone assumes that being vegan means that you miss out on chocolate but there are so many great vegan chocolates out there now, you can definitely enjoy a chocolate or two whilst watching those Christmas movies!
Hotel Chocolat
One of my favourite brands, Hotel Chocolat has an amazing vegan collection which they have expanded this year. They have a great selection box which is great value at £24.50 and would make a lovely gift. They also have a new nutmilk range which is deliciously creamy and they have vegan advent calendars too.
Spice Pots
Spice Pots provide 100% natural, perfectly balanced spice blends to create easy, quick and simple but delicious curries and other Indian-inspired food. The spice pots are packaged up in a perfect set which contains 4 spice pots, Korma, Bhuna, Tandoori Masala and Goan. It also comes with 8 easy to follow recipes to use your spice pots so the vegan curry kit makes the perfect gift for vegan friends and at £15.95 it is at the perfect price point. Spice Pots are giving one of my readers the chance to win a pack themselves, you can enter here...
Vegan Mayonnaise Set
These fabulous little set of flavoured vegan mayonnaise from The Wasabi Company makes the perfect secret santa or stocking gift for your favourite vegan. Containing three glass pots (175g each) of mayonnaise flavoured with Wasabi, Yuzu & Miso this is a real treat for a foodie lover! Made from fresh wasabi grown in spring water on their Dorset and Hampshire farms this mayonnaise is great quality and great value too at £11.50 for the set.
Clothing
Superdry
How fabulous are these vegan trainers from Superdry? Not only are they totally on trend but they make a subtle statement too. Made from sustainable materials these are approved by the Vegan Society.
Trendhim
Trendhim is a great site full of gift ideas for men. Not everything is vegan friendly but they do have a good range of bags which are. This red foldable bum bag is eco-friendly and made from 100% recycled plastic. It makes a great, practical gift.
Fferal Clothing
If you are looking for a great gift for a vegan friend then how about a vegan t-shirt from Fferal Clothing? These t-shirts make a statement but are also made from sustainable cotton, responsibly sourced and ethically made. They are also a Peta Approved Vegan clothing company. Whilst you are there check our their loungewear and children's PJ's too, so soft and cosy!
Shop Like You Give A Damn
This Milano black crossbody handbag is very smart but can be dressed up or down. It is beautifully made and available from the brilliantly named site Shop Like You Give A Damn, which showcases vegan, sustainable and ethical brands such as Esmay who make this bag.
Vegan Happy Clothing
Vegan Happy Clothing is a wonderful vegan brand with a whole range of clothing and accessories that are vegan. The baby clothes are really cute and I love their hoodies! They have lots of things that would make great gifts, including this lovely warm and cosy looking hoodie!
Beauty
More and more people are becoming aware that you can make vegan and plant based choices outside of the realm of just food. Beauty is the next area that is booming with an explosion of great vegan options and the added bonus is that in most cases these are ethically made and environmentally friendly.
Lush
This is another one of my favourite brands, who have also hugely expanded their vegan range recently. A gift set from Lush is a ready made and wrapped gift which is perfect for busy people. The Happy Christmas bundle is a limited edition box of these vegan treats for only £28.
Magical Santa bath bomb
Butterbear bath bomb
Party Popper bubble bar
Candy Cane reusable bubble bar
Snowman Finger Puppet bath bomb
Christmas badges x 4
Dolma Vegan Fragrances
Before I went vegan I hadn't thought much about fragrances and whether they contained animal products. It is great now to find a brand that provides ethical fragrances. All of their products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free and made right here in the UK. They also plant a tree for every sale. The Dolma discovery sets are an ideal gift – your loved one will be able to test out the different fragrances in their own time.
Elf cosmetics
This is a brilliant vegan beauty brand that I definitely recommend. Everything is vegan and cruelty free and it is priced at a very competitive price point. This gift set of 10 lip glosses would make a lovely gift for a vegan who likes make up this Christmas.
Clear Confidence
This company sells vegan and plastic free personal care items such as this shaving brush which would make a great stocking gift for the vegan man in your life.
Beauty Pie
I have been a member of BeautyPie for a couple of years now. If you aren't familiar with BeautyPie it is a subscription based beauty brand and everything is vegan and cruelty free. They sell top end products at reduced prices. A gift membership for a year costs £59 and would make a great gift for a vegan beauty addict!
For the home
It is easy to consider vegan products when it comes to food, clothing and beauty but being vegan is a lifestyle choice and extends to the products that are used in the home too. These gifts respect that and are made from vegan and cruelty ingredients.
The Copenhagen Company Candle
This Christmas candle in a tin smells amazing and makes the perfect stocking stuffer or secret santa gift as it is a very reasonable price point of £8. The tin is beautifully decorated so when the candle is finished your recipient can keep the tin to reuse year after year for storage or decoration.
Wearth
Wearth is a company who showcases and champions independents with the view to helping them to make sales. Everything is vegan and cruelty free. These ceramic planters are cute and bright and will cheer up a room, especially when some plants are installed!
Vegan Haven
Finally, what better gift to give at this time of year than a lovely stylish and warm vegan blanket. Your recipient can use this blanket to snuggle up warm or as a throw over a sofa or armchair. Made out of entirely approx. 50 recycled plastic bottles this blanket looks and feels like wool, but is the perfect, practical and environmentally friendly alternative.
