If you haven't head of the brand Vivaia before then let me introduce them. Vivaia is an ethical, sustainable brand that makes shoes and accessories. I already have a pair of their trainers and Aria shoes so head over and read all about them here. I know and love how comfy their shoes are so I was delighted to try their latest version of the Aria shoe and I had to choose one of their fabulous bags to try this time.

Aria 5* Pointed Toe Ballet Flats

I pretty much only wear flat shoes now - running around after four children means that I need practical and comfortable shoes. I also do like them to still be stylish though which is why I love these Aria ballet flats. Vivaia have made some improvements to their classic design and they are even better than ever!

Firstly, these flats are made from Hemp which is an amazing fabric. It is naturally anti-microbial and can effectively inhibit the growth of microbes and bacteria, destroying them within 1 hour.

These also have a natural herbal insole, heel rebound and arch and forefoot support and a heel patch for comfort and to prevent rubbing. They come in a huge variety of colours and the best bit? They are hand and machine washable! Literally the holy grail of shoes for active and busy mums like me!

Zahara Sustainable Tote Bag

As I love these shoes so much I pretty much already knew that I would be a fan of their bags. I chose the Zahara sustainable tote bag as I needed a new bag to take swimming with me and this looked perfect.

This tote bag is made from recycled bottles and has the same texture as the shoes. It has a 10 litre capacity so is perfect for my swimming stuff and it's very easy to get my things in and out of it. I like that it is machine washable as I like to wash it every now and again to get any swimming smells out of it. I chose the pink colour but it is available in lots of colours too, so it could be suitable for school, work or sports.

The handles are nice and soft, thick and comfy so it is easy to carry around - in fact my 11 year old carried it all the way around our local museum without one complaint! The handles are the perfect size to either carry it in your hand or over your shoulder.
