I have been wearing a lot more activewear recently since starting to incorporate exercise into my daily routine. Usually I wake up early and head to the pool or do some yoga at home. If I'm wearing activewear not only am I comfortable exercising but I also feel like I look good and am well supported. I tend to do the morning school run straight after so I like to stay in my activewear until I get home to shower. Similarly if I am exercising in the afternoon / evening I will change into leggings and a sports bra for the afternoon, run the children to their after school clubs, work out and shower once I am finished. I've been trying the Yvette activewear range and have been absolutely loving it, keep reading to find out more.
Limitless Adjustable Padded Running Bra
I love to go for a run, having completed the Couch to 5k app a couple of years ago I try to run 5k twice a week. I am fairly petite with a large-ish chest for my size (32D) so a really good sports bra is an absolute must and I can honestly say that the Yvette limitless adjustable padded running bra is the most supportive I have ever worn.
It has adjustable shoulder straps as well as adjustable chest straps for the perfect fit which ensures that there is no bouncing up and down in it! I love that it has a front zip fastening which means it is really easy to put on and take off - we have all been there trying to get a sports bra off when you are damp and sweaty! No problem with this bra!
Shift Light Mesh Longline Padded Yoga Bra
Sometimes a really super supportive bra isn't what is needed and I prefer something with a lighter support for when I am doing yoga. When I'm doing yoga I like to wear tight fitting clothes so I can tell how I am moving more precisely and I also like them to be comfortable as yoga is a relaxing and mindful activity as well as a physical one.
The shift light mesh longline padded yoga bra is absolutely perfect for this. The mesh panel means that it is really breathable and it does feel like a second skin as it has a four way stretch. I like the fact that it has padded cups (removable) as I like the shape that it gives me, which is important to me as I wear the yoga gear out and about too. I got a size small and it is a great fit.
Enfold High-Waisted Running Leggings
I got these running leggings to go with the running bra reviewed above and I love them! Again they are so buttery soft and fit really nicely. They have a supportive high waist which is important for me and my mum-tum. Again, the fabric has a four way stretch and is also highly supportive and sweat wicking so perfect for those high intensity runs and workouts. I chose the green colour and I often wear them with a sweatshirt around and about the house as they are so comfortable.
Echo Yoga Leggings
I chose these yoga leggings to go with the yoga bra above and I wasn't disappointed. They are made of a super-soft buttery feel fabric and are very comfortable. I love that they are high waisted, full length and made from 75% high-performance recycled fabric. I chose the colour black because it goes with everything and I can confirm that they aren't see through at all!
