If you are travelling to Patna with your family then this is the post for you - Patna is a great place to travel to with children and here are 5 things that you can do in Patna with kids.
1. Patna Museum
Located in the middle of the city this is really easy to get to and is one of the oldest museums in India so it is well worth a visit. It is clean and modern and full of interesting artefacts and according to it's reviews it is a wonderful place to take the children so they learn some new things.
2. Patna Planetarium
This is a place where the children can watch shows about the solar system and the night sky. They have shows in Hindi and in English so don't let a language barrier hold you back.
3. P&M Mall
If you have older children (teenagers!) they might be interested in a spot of retail therapy. P&M mall is a great place full of big brands and even has a cinema complex. The perfect place to while away a rainy day.
4. Srikrishna Science Centre
A hands on science exhibition centre where you can learn all about science and watch experiments. Children can learn lots about science in a fun and interesting way which is a great help with their science education and development.
5. Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park

Otherwise known as Patna Zoo this is the place to come if you are looking to learn all about animals. It is a huge place, you will need to spend most of the day here. It is big and open and you can bring your own picnic which is great if you are on a budget. You will see tigers, elephants, giraffes, monkeys and rhinos to name a few.
As you can see there is so much for children to do in Patna, and that is without going into detail or looking at all the cultural and religious places of interest. You definitely won't be bored if you visit Patna!
