How long has it been since you threw a great party? Probably too long, right? Then maybe it’s time to do something about that! After all, you’ve got a home to host a bash, and if you’ve got some free time to set things up and get your friends round, that’s even better!
However, you may be worried that your house isn’t quite up to being a venue at the moment. Maybe it feels a bit small or messy, or you don’t even have a place where people can properly gather together. And that’s something we’re here to help with.
Indeed, if you’ve already set up a bar area that you love, it won’t take much to go a step further! Namely, if you quite fancy the idea of becoming the ultimate party house, these are the tips you can use in designing your house to support that.

Make Space for Plenty of Seating
Depending on the kinds of parties you want to throw, this seating can take many forms. If you’re a fan of dinner parties, investing in a Dining Chairs Set Of 4 at CFS (or two of them) will ensure everyone has a place to park themselves.
If you like mini ragers, fitting a new three piece suite into your living room will provide plenty more sofa space for everyone to squeeze onto.
And if you’ve got a garden, you could throw any kind of party you like, seeing as you can fit a lot more furniture onto a patio, deck, or lawn than you can inside your home!
Could You Install a Downstairs Bathroom?
You might know and love all your party guests, and you certainly wouldn’t ever think the worst of them, but if they’re all in your home and the drinks have been going round, your bathroom will end up a mess!
And if you’ve only got the one bathroom and your whole house has to use it, that’s not the kind of mess you want to have to clean up when you’ve got a hangover.
As such, see if there’s a bathroom opportunity downstairs as well. This doesn’t have to be a full bathroom with a bath/shower as well, but if you can fit a toilet and a sink in a space the size of a closet, you’ll have an excellent line of defense against the bathroom cleanup!
Set Up a Lot More Lights
You never want a house party to get too dark. There needs to be plenty of illumination so your guests can find their way around, even if they’re stumbling.
And if you don’t want to constantly have the overhead lamp on, make sure you’ve got strip lighting or even just some string fairy lights set up across your house. Wrap these around picture frames, chair legs, and even the hallway bannister.
Turning your home into the perfect party venue might take a little manoeuvring, but you’ll certainly love the result of the hard work!
