The Lion King film is out this week and I am so excited! It is one of my favourite films from when I was a child and I can't wait to see the new live action film. I just know that the children are going to love it too.
They have been getting into the excitement of waiting for the film to come out by playing with their new Lion King plush toys we were sent to review. They come in two sizes, large and small and you can get Simba, Nala or Pumbaa in large and Simba, Nala, Pumbaa and Timon in small. We have the small Simba and large Pumbaa. You can also get a large roaring Simba toy.
They are gorgeous soft toys, designed to look just like their characters in the film. They feature deluxe embroidery and are really great quality, nice and sturdy yet also cuddly. On the large toys you press their paw and they will make a sound with a phrase from the movie. The smaller toys also make a noise and sounds and phrases from the movie if you press their tummies. Batteries are included.
The large toys are 14" tall and the smaller ones 8". They are great value considering the quality and the sound effects that they also have. The large toy retails for £22.99 and the smaller just £9.99 and are available from Amazon or Argos. The large roaring Simba toy (not featured here) retails at £39.99 and is available from Argos.
These cuddly toys are suitable for ages 3 up and my 5 year old and 8 year old love them. They are a great memento of the movie and I know they will play with them for ages, making the sounds from the movie and cuddling them up in bed.
