One of the things I love to do with the children at Easter time is to get our craft on. The weather is notoriously rubbish and it looks like it will be rainy this year so we keep the boredom at bay by doing some Easter themed crafts.
We’ve already made Easter bonnets for school and this week we got the paint out to make some decorations for the house for the Easter period.
All three of my children love painting, it’s such an expressive medium and there’s no skill required to have fun! Even Little Boy who is three gets stuck into painting!
E really embraced the challenge of painting and crafting me a decoration for the house and she created this beautiful Easter egg using water colour paint, cardboard, ribbon and some stick on gems. It will look gorgeous on our mantlepiece this Easter.
If you’re looking for creative things to do with your children this Easter Ken Bromley Art Supplies have put together a handful of Easter themed art activities which will get your children experimenting with paint – you can see them here.
They are also giving you the chance to win a hamper of kids art materials worth over £65! All you need to do is simply send them a photo of your child’s Easter themed art work using the form on their site or Instagram, Tweet them, or post it on their Facebook wall with the hashtag #KidsPaintEaster for a chance to win! (Remember to include the name of the child and their age and that social media posts have to be set to public so they can see them).
Deadline for submissions is Sunday 15th April 2018 at 23:59.
