How To Update Your Bedroom For Spring

    Apr 18, 2018 · Modified: Sep 12, 2025 by Ali · 1 Comment

You know me, I love to make little changes to the rooms in my house according to the season and Spring is one of my favourite seasons! I've already updated my living room with some pink tones and now I'm ready to make a couple of changes to the master bedroom so I thought I would share some of my inspiration with you.

    Window Dressings

We have huge windows in our main bedroom and they let quite a lot of light in which is great in the daytime but not so great first thing in the morning or late at night in the summer. I love the look of bedroom shutters and have been toying with the idea of getting some to block some of the light out.

If you are adding a new splash of colour to your bedroom for spring you could consider changing your blinds. You can get some pretty window shutter blinds  too.

    Bedding

A really simple way to update your bedroom for the changing season is to change your bedding. Brighten up the room with some spring florals and change your duvet for a thinner one for the warmer weather. You could also change up your cushions or blankets if you don't want to change all your bedding.

    Decorations

You can update the feel of your room by changing and adding a few accessories. For spring I like to add flowers, I love fresh flowers but good quality artificial ones are great too. They'll really brighten the room up and bring the outside in. You could also change some of the artwork on the walls, a bright, fresh print would really lighten a room for spring time.

    Declutter

Honestly one of the cheapest and best things you can do to update your bedroom for Spring is to declutter. Sort out all your clutter and make sure all the surfaces are clear. It will make the world of difference to how fresh and clean your bedroom seems and make it a happier place to be.

Do you update your rooms as the seasons change? I'd love to know if you are planning any bedroom updates in the coming months! If you liked this post share it with your friends using the share links on the left or you can Pin the post for later...
