Mark Hill Pick n Mix Collection
At the end of last week I was treated to a little bit of luxury after the school run - I popped into Cardiff and had my hair styled courtesy of Mark Hill's hairdressing team in Boots in Cardiff's St David's Centre. .
Mark and his team are currently doing a tour of the country showcasing his new Pick 'N' Mix range.
It was obviously a bit of a new one for me and I didn't really know what to expect but off Little Boy and I went and we had a fabulous morning! Mark and his team were so friendly. Mark was really hands on and seemed to really enjoy talking to customers in the store. He was so passionate about his products that it was really infectious. He made a massive fuss over Little Boy too who absolutely adored him!
I don't have too much time in the mornings to do my hair with three little people to get ready, but I do like to look good so I always run some straighteners over it quickly and sometimes put a bit of a wave in. I never thought I had time to do much else.
When I had my hair done on Friday however I learnt how quick Mark Hill's Pick 'N' Mix wand is to use. It really is an innovative product. You buy a base wand handle and then you can choose from five different wand tops depending on which look you want. The base handle (which includes a heat proof glove) is only £14.99 and the wand tips are only £11.99 each. It's a great price and because you can buy it all separately you only need to buy what you need and you can buy bits and pieces as you can afford it.
We used the medium barrel on my hair and large chunks of hair at a time which gave me soft waves in a matter of minutes. I also got to try out some of the products - the heat protection spray is a must.
My hairstyle lasted a day of shopping in Cardiff, a windy school run and through to the next day which is brilliant. I'm definitely going to be picking up this wand as I can always use a helping hand to look more glamorous in the mornings. It would also make a great present for someone who is into hair.
I was given a lovely goody bag with some fabulous Mark Hill products in, I can't wait to use them and let you know what I thought.
