New Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Unboxing & Review

    May 1, 2017 · Modified: Sep 18, 2022 by Ali · Leave a Comment

I'm sure you will all remember the craze over Christmas about Hatchimals - the wonderful little animals that hatched out of eggs. Everyone wanted one and they were so popular that they were selling on eBay more than double their RRP.

On the back of that immense success Spin Master have launched a new product, which is much more accessible to everyone and I am sure children are going to go wild for them - the new Hatchimal CollEGGTible. They are little mini Hatchimal Eggs which need a child's touch to hatch. They are launching in the UK today - the 1st May 2017 so you can head out today and pick them up!

The girls were really lucky and were sent a couple before the launch date to try out. They received little blind bags containing one egg each - I dare you to find a child that doesn't love a blind bag! They were so excited to open them.

Inside are little speckled eggs which have a purple heart on them. The child needs to hold the egg and rub the heart and when it changes from purple to pink it is ready to hatch. The girls furiously got to work and were so excited when the hearts started to change from purple to pink. With a little help from Mummy for Little Miss J the eggs hatched!

Inside is a little animal toy with sparkly wings. You can look at the collector's map to see which you have found and where in the world they come from. Of course the dream is to get an ultra-rare Hatchimal CollEGGtible!

If you want to find out more about these cute little toys join in with the Twitter party on the @SpinmasterUK twitter account tonight between 5-6pm!

What I love about these is that they are priced at a point where they are quite affordable. A blind bag containing one Hatchimal CollEGGTible retails for £2.99, a 2 pack with a nest is £4.99 and a pack of 5 is £9.99

We filmed a little unboxing and review video so you can see what Hatchimal CollEGGTibles we got!
