Rainy Day Fun with Wentworth Puzzles Review

    Aug 24, 2016 · Modified: Oct 29, 2022 by Ali · 1 Comment

We've been really lucky this summer holidays weather wise and enjoyed lots of outdoor adventures and pursuits. Last week it was a bit wet though, and it was welcome really as everyone was tired from being out and about so much. I love a day in the house sometimes so we just spent the day together, tidying the house, watching films and playing games.

We had a new puzzle to play from Wentworth Puzzles so we got that out. It is the "I Know my World Map" and I chose it because I thought it would be fun and educational at the same time.

I was definitely right. The girls loved the puzzle as did I!

It is beautifully made from wood and clearly high quality. It even comes with a little bag to keep all the puzzle pieces in which is great as you will know if you have lots of puzzles is that they can be bulky to store and after a while the boxes great so a little storage bag is the perfect idea.

The girls loved putting this together, especially as we noticed along the way that some of the puzzle pieces were shaped like famous landmarks e.g. the Eiffel Tower and The Statue of Liberty.

The map puzzle is perfect for young children as it keeps their interest because it has the differently shaped pieces and also shows some animals and where they come from. It was brilliant for my 9 year old too as we discussed where different countries are in relation to each other and learnt some flags that we didn't know before.

We had a great time playing with this and I would definitely recommend it, or picking it up as a gift for someone. Take a look at Wentworth Puzzles website too, they have lots of great puzzles for children and adults alike, and you can even get personalised ones, how cool is that!

Disclosure - we were gifted this puzzle for the purpose of this review. All opinions are honest and my own.
