Why is even the best baby formula still not better than breast milk?

Right after becoming a parent you are trying to give your loved one all the best. You make some choices everyday. This applies to the fabric of the clothes your baby wears, the material of the toys he plays with and of course the food he consumes. The last one is probably the most important thing as food affect not only the mood of a baby but also health and wellbeing in the long run.

Perhaps the most important question about breastfeeding and the usage of infant formula arises. Some mothers are just unable to breastfeed for some reasons or a baby doesn't show any interest in it. Nowadays, baby formulas are considered to be a healthy and nutritional option for babies.

Why are baby formulas a good alternative to breastmilk?

Nowadays, there are a lot of brands that produce beneficial and high quality baby formulas for small children, especially organic ones. Organic formula is created due to the strictest rules and don't use any chemical ingredients in their compositions. So they have quite pure composition and, moreover, are very close to breast milk. Manufacturers do their best to enrich them with only positive elements and nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, healthy fats and others. Definitely, not all of them are healthy for babies, so you need to pay close attention to their compositions and choose the best one with completely safe ingredients.

But the point is, if you are able to breastfeed - do it, because mother's milk and bottle milk have some differences.

What's the main differences between breast milk and baby formula?

It's a well-known fact that breastmilk is the best food for every baby. It contains all the necessary nutrients and in perfect amounts for your loved one. As it is specially produced for personal needs, it's very gentle and completely suitable. You don't really know whether the formula is perfect for your baby until you try it and there is a possibility of a negative reaction. In the case of breast milk, it's always ideal.

If to talk about composition, mother's milk is high in healthy elements. Nutrients in breastmilk such as carbohydrates and proteins are better absorbed in comparison with baby formula. Babies take and digest it easily. In addition, breast milk positively affects brain, nervous and digestive systems.

Moreover, kids usually get on well with breastmilk. They are more resistant to infections and diseases. That happens because of antibodies that are transferred from the mother's body to the baby. They build strong immunity and help a child to be healthier. That's the main benefit of breastmilk that cannot be replaced by baby formula.

Due to all the benefits that breast milk has over baby formula, it still remains the best option for babies. So if you have this chance - give your baby all the best.
