The ruins here include statues, temples, sanctuaries, pottery, carvings, and more. This place is worth a visit to Greek mythos aficionados.
5. Pay a Visit to Panagia Paraportiani
Panagia Paraportiani is a famous Byzantine church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. This magnificent building dates back to 1425. It has a unique architecture. It’s actually part of one large structure made up of four churches built over centuries. The building’s white-washed exterior has an odd asymmetrical shape where the four churches have been squeezed together. This place is free to visit and marvel.
