This month brought about the opening of the UK again after the Covid 19 lockdown! In Wales we were allowed to travel within our borders so we booked a little break away to Anglesey to stay in a cottage in the middle of nowhere for a week. I felt so lucky that we were able to get away - the first time we had been anywhere in over a year.
The weather was really cold (it snowed!) but we had a lovely warm cottage and a hot tub so we didn't mind. We managed some lovely walks and really fell in love with the Anglesey area. We also managed to see some of the hubby's family who we hadn't seen in years and hung out in their garden for a bit.
This photo was taken at Penrhyn Castle which is a beautiful estate where we spent a lovely couple of hours on their Easter trail. It was sunny but cold! I can't wait to go back again one day when everything is open properly.
I hope that you are all managing to enjoy the UK opening up a little bit. We are still being really cautious, but I am tempted to make a trip to Ikea soon and I can't wait to take the children on some days out, I've really missed taking them to see different places.
Take a look back on previous April's photos...
