The Easter holiday is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with a fun and creative craft that the whole family can enjoy? In this post, we'll be showing you how to make adorable Easter Bunny Handprint Easter Cards - the perfect way to spread some Easter cheer to your loved ones. These cards are easy to make, require only a few basic supplies, and are a great way to get your kids involved in the holiday festivities. So, let's hop to it and get started on this fun and festive project with a personal touch, full instructions are below!

This Easter handprint art  is so easy to make and the kids will love it too.

    Materials

    • Child safe paint or non-toxic ink pads
    • High quality card stock or heavy weight paper
    • Ribbon
    • googly eyes and other embellishments
    • Glue stick

We used green card to make this Easter Bunny handprint card but you could use any coloured card. For best results choose a paint that will show up well on the colour card you have chosen. You could even cut your card into an egg shape or paint the design onto white paper or construction paper and stick the white piece of paper to the front of a cardboard card.

Top tip: use child friendly paint so that it is non-toxic on their skin.

    Instructions

Paint the palm of your child's hand, except the thumb. Get them to separate their fingers, two and two, 'live long and prosper' style and press their hand on the card. Depending upon the age of the child you might need to help with the finger placement and pressing down onto the card. The idea is that the two pairs of fingers form the bunny ears on these handprint bunnies, creating a bunny template to embellish later.

When the white paint is dry they can add to the picture to add eyes, whiskers and glue a little ribbon on. We printed Happy Easter on the front but you can get them to write / paint this if you like. Make sure that you use child safe ink. If you have a box of craft supplies you could also add cotton balls, pom poms, tissue paper or other accessories with glue if you like. This is where your little one can take the reigns a little - every child's creation will look a little different.

Use a black sharpie pen, stickers or print out to write Happy Easter or similar greeting on the front of the card.

The best part of these Easter crafts is that this is a great keepsake of how teeny your little one's hands and little fingers are. I get our card out and use it as an easter decoration every year. These cards also make a great Easter gift, especially if you give it alongside some Easter eggs.

This Easter handprint cards fun craft helps your children with their creativity, their fine motor skills and their hand-eye coordination. Your little one will have so much fun making these easter handprint bunny card craft - it's one of my favourite Easter card ideas.

It's an easy craft, suitable for kids of all ages, but particularly young children rather than older children this is a special Easter keepsake art that won't take too much time to create. It's the perfect choice of craft to do in nursery school, kindergarten classrooms or sunday school even - handprint crafts make lovely gifts for parents.
