Orchard Toys Free Printable Cards

Celebrating children's birthdays during lockdown is difficult. They are often of an age where they don't understand fully why things aren't normal, why they can't see their family and friends or have a birthday party. We haven't had a lockdown birthday in our family yet, although Little Boy's birthday is in July so we will see where we are at when that comes along.
We have had plenty of friend's children having birthdays over this time though. To make up for the fact that they haven't been able to have a party or have their family and friends around to help them celebrate we've tried to make things a little special for them by sending handmade cards and gifts over to them.
Orchard Toys have some great free downloads on their website to help with this. Their free printable colouring in cards that you can print off, have your child colour in and just glue to some card for an instant birthday card. The personal touch is really lovely and your little one will enjoy doing the colouring in too!
Orchard Toys also make great gifts for children as they are fun and educational. We have quite a few Orchard Toy games already and we were sent some more. They are good quality and really sturdy and will withstand play with lots of children! They make such a perfect gift at any time, but especially now when we are all unable to go out as much and are playing games at home. There's something really special about a bit of family time playing games together.
Giraffes with Scarves was a big favourite as is Rainbow Unicorns and Farmyard Heads and Tails. The games all have an age recommendation on them but also you will find in the instructions often ways that you can simplify the game or make it more difficult, meaning that the games have a really wide range of use.
Little Boy who is 5 has already asked me for lots of Orchard Toys games for his upcoming birthday and I'm glad to oblige - I might even colour him in one of the printable cards myself too!
