Ok, confession time, I didn't actually manage to get a whole family photo in October. I'm not sure why, apart from that life has suddenly gotten very busy again. Weekdays are full of work, school and after school clubs and the weekends we try to fit in some family time as well as trying to keep on top of the housework! So the best I have is a couple of photos with most of us in!
This month's first photo was taken on our half term holiday to Yorkshire. We stayed at this lovely little campsite in a bell tent and it was just the most perfect week. We hadn't been to Yorkshire before so we walked across the moors, explored York and Scarborough and ate out every night. To be honest it was just the break we needed from our hectic lives. It was such a lovely holiday, we will definitely be back to On The Shire again when they open up for the new season.
The next two photos were taken when we went pumpkin picking at a farm local to us. As you can tell from the pictures the weather was unseasonably warm - we didn't even need coats! It was a lovely afternoon out though and they also had a maize maze which was lots of fun, but hard work chasing a toddler around! It was great to be able to support a local business too, which we are trying to do more of lately after everyone has struggled so much over lockdown.
I hope that your October went really well, I am so behind on everything that I am publishing this in November and my planned October favourites post and YouTube video are going to have to be November favourites! Christmas is really looming and as usual I'm not ready!!
If you want to see how we have grown over the years check out our previous October family photos...
