I was typing out the title to this post as A Family Photo October 2020 when I realised that I haven't posted a photo for September! What can I say, I can only blame the chaos that is life at the moment! The children went back to school in September which was great for them, but meant getting into a new routine all over again. I've really been struggling with finding time to work and quite often fall asleep on the sofa in the evening when I should be blogging.
Of course, if Coronavirus hadn't arrived on the scene and ruined life as we knew it, Baby N was supposed to have started nursery 2 mornings a week which would have left me with a nice chunk of time to work, but that wasn't to be so I'm struggling on as I am!
We didn't manage to get a whole family photo in September, but I have got these lovely ones of us separately, as hubby and I took it in turns to take the photo. We were in Newport Wetlands before local lockdown kicked in and we had a lovely walk around and picnic. Our lockdown ends on Monday, weeks after we have been prohibited from leaving our county and I can't wait to be able to travel a bit further afield again.
October's photo was supposed to be on the pumpkin picking field but it was a bit of a nightmare keeping the children in one place and getting a nice photo. I did manage to get some lovely siblings photos though! In the end our family photo for the month of October was quite apt as we were in lockdown in Wales so it was taken on our doorstep with the pumpkins that we had carved!
I'm quite glad actually that we are in November, I'm really looking forward to spending a nice Christmas at home with my little family, and try to forget what is happening in the world around us. For the first time ever I want to have everything sorted for Christmas by the end of the month so that December can be all about getting excited about the build up with none of the stress, especially considering it's more likely than not we will be back in lockdown again soon enough!
