With all of our travel plans cancelled this year I've realised just how much I value going on holiday and taking the children on new adventures and to see new things. I've been whiling away the time dreaming of holidays and there are several places I would consider for bucket list family holidays and I hope that we will make it to all of them someday.
Disney World Florida
Of course Disney World is the absolute top of my bucket list! The children are desperate to go there and keep asking when we are going to go. I do want to wait until the baby is just that little bit older, just so that he gets the most out of it. We plan on renting a villa so that we can spend some time there and exploring the local area as well as enjoying all that Disney has to offer. We can then purchase Disney tickets separately.
California
I am desperate to visit California, I really want to do a long Californian road trip along the coast. Hubby and I have talked about renting an RV or something like that and travelling road trip style, although I think that now our family is bigger we might be better off looking at Air BnB's to rent along the way. I think it would be such an amazing experience for everyone and the weather is usually great there for most of the year.
New York
Now I know that this is my third American place in this list - what can I say, I have been deprived of trips to the USA and I really want to go there! I actually had planned to visit New York for my 30th birthday but it didn't happen because of the children so this time I plan on taking them with me - the older two at least! I think the girls are the perfect age now for sightseeing and shopping and I think to take them to New York at Christmas would be just magical. I really hope that we make it one day.
Lap Land
This is one of the family holidays that we really need to take sooner rather than later, before the magic of Christmas fades as the children get older! I know it can be really expensive so I've been looking at ways that we can do it a bit more cheaply, or at least get a bit more travel and experience out of our money. I'm reluctant to spend a huge amount of money on a one day holiday!
Berlin
Now this is a bit of a cheat because I have already been here on my own, but I didn't have any of my family with me and I know that they would absolutely love it. It is such an interesting city and obviously full of so much history, I found it utterly fascinating, and sad in equal measures. I don't think I've ever had a more grounding experience than visiting the holocaust museum there.
I hope you enjoyed this post, I'd love to know where your bucket list family destinations are. If you liked this post please share it with your friends or Pin it for later...
