Every Saturday morning we head off to our local pool where the three kiddies have swimming lessons. This has been our routine for the last 7 years and just recently Little Boy has started his lessons so now all three of them are in the pool.
It's really important to me that the children learn to swim, because in my mind it can protect them from certain dangers. It's also lots of fun because they love swimming in the pool, the sea and on holiday too. I know that I don't have to worry about them not knowing how to swim, and although we still keep a close eye on them when we take them on holiday, I am confident that my eldest's swimming skills are good enough that she will be ok if she gets out of her depth.
As a family that swims a lot you can imagine that we get through a fair amount of swimming equipment like swimming nappies, costumes, towels and goggles. My girls won't swim without their goggles as they like to dive underwater and understandably they like to see where they are going.
Little Miss J was due a goggles upgrade as hers had gotten too small so I agreed to review a pair of SwimFreaks goggles and boy was she delighted with them! They come in three different colourways and she chose the white Aquafin ones. They have a cool sheen to the lenses which she loved.
Importantly for me they were easy to adjust once you know how to do it (we all know that kids are constantly asking to have their goggles adjusted!) and they fit really well and stayed on for her whole lesson.
As you can see she was very pleased with them, so much so that I'll be buying another pair for my eldest as she was a little jealous!
These goggles retail at Β£12.99 and are available from Swimfreak here.
Disclosure - we were sent these googles in exchange for a review post. All opinions are honest and our own.
