Ways In Which You Can Say Thank You To NHS Workers and Frontline Staff During The Coronavirus Pandemic

    Mar 26, 2020 · Modified: Jan 26, 2022 by Ali · Leave a Comment

    collaborative post

With everything going on at the moment we know that there are a few members of our society that are bearing the brunt of the work and hardship. The NHS staff in particular are risking their health and lives on a daily basis to care for others. What an amazing sacrifice that is, I am totally in awe of their vocation and dedication.

There of course lots of other key workers also playing their part, from supermarket workers to delivery drivers. It's really important to me to say thank you to those people, working hard while we hole up trying to stay safe in our homes.

    Draw a Rainbow

Children all around the country have drawn rainbows for their front windows to provide some cheer and hope. I've seen lots of these with little messages on to say thank you to the NHS staff and delivery drivers. It's a really easy way to send a little thank you.

    Offer Help

Remember that NHS staff and other frontline workers are working really hard at the moment and they might struggle to get to the shops. Offer to help with their shopping, either in person or by adding items to an online shop for them.

    Give something back

Lots of places are offering discounts, offers and freebies for NHS workers. Wow Free Stuff has a really great list which is well worth sharing if you know someone who could benefit.

    Stay Home

One of the biggest things you could do to say thank you is one of the easiest - stay at home. Remember that these workers are going to work to help people affected by the virus and the best way we can stop the spread is to stay at home where we can.
