    A Family Photo - March 2016

    Apr 1, 2016 · Modified: Sep 20, 2022 by Ali · 2 Comments

And another month has flown by! Can you believe it? I honestly can't believe that we are in April already, I feel like before we know it, it will be the summer.

This month we have been so busy sorting out stuff for the house, ordering things, getting quotes and arranging builders. We have a decorator working here for about a month and still lots and lots to do. Daddy starts his new job in a few days and we will miss spending so much time with him. It has been a pure miracle to have him off work on gardening leave for 3 months over the house move period but it's time to go back to reality (and solo parenting for me!).

I have a feeling that April might be a difficult month, getting back into old routines, struggling with living in a building site and trying to get things done but hey, we are up for a challenge!

We have spent the last week taking some real time together as a family and enjoying this last week with Daddy home. Yesterday we went for a little day trip to a nearby National Trust property Tredegar House and I thought I would take the opportunity to have a family photo. It's the same every month though - the kids don't play ball! It's only a few seconds they have to look at the camera but they can never all manage it! So here is another shot we took on a whim on the beach the other day. It's a plain old selfie with my iPhone camera but it's a lot better than the more formal attempt!!

I hope you all had a great March and have an even better April. As you might have seen on social media I am planning a little blog rebrand. No change to content or anything like that, just a name change. But I'll tell you more about that another day!
