What can I say, March has been quite a weird month. It brought with it the anniversary of Covid-19 lockdown, and I dare say that most people this time last year had no idea that we would still be in lockdown a year later.

Things are looking up though. A lot of people have already had their vaccinations. My husband has had his first dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine which is great. We can start to meet friends outside again, the children are nearly all back in school and as the end of March draws near, we might be able to travel within Wales for tourism and non essential items are planned to be allowed to be sold in supermarkets again. To be honest, even writing all that out sounded really strange in my head - what a world we live in now, we could never have predicted it even a year ago.
During lockdown at the weekends we have been taking long walks as a family. We are lucky enough to live near the beach so we walk over to the next bay, take some snacks and drinks and sit on the beach and enjoy the peace. The weekend that this photo was taken it was gloriously sunny and there was a real feeling of spring in the air, and with that new hope. I literally can't wait for warmer weather, it really does help lift the mood.
